Our Ultimate Goal

Our goal is to promote horse related businesses/services within the Lower Mainland as well as activities and other events. This allows people in the Lower Mainland to do business with other businesses in the Lower Mainland. It also allows riders/horse owners and easy way to access a wealth of information about businesses in their area.

This website first became an idea when was searching for a place to board my horse. I wasn't from here and really didn't know where to start to looking - besides Yellow Pages. I quickly found out their are many many more stables than are in the Yellow Pages. But, the information was really scattered around and that there are many really nice stables out there that don't advertise anywhere.

Then I created the GVRD. The staff at the GVRD has carefully combined all the information on the website - with the help of many people and we hope all information is accurate (let us know if you find any errors!). We also continue to be on the search for new businesses in the Lower Mainland, if you know one that isn't listed here, let us know!
